VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Atlantic Homecare Services, a leading homecare provider based in Virginia Beach, VA, is expanding to Raleigh, North Carolina. The company’s expansion plans combine organic growth with strategic acquisitions along the East Coast, and this acquisition is the first move in doing so. CEO and Co-Founder, Brad Foster, says of the expansion, “We’re excited about our move into the Raleigh/Durham market with the acquisition of Right Choice Home Care and Staffing. Right Choice aligns well with our culture and shares our focus on high-quality patient care, customer service and compliance”.
Atlantic Homecare Services has been supporting the Hampton Roads area since 2012 and their services include Pediatric and Adult Skilled Nursing, Personal Care, Companion Care, Private Duty Nursing, and Medical Staffing. Their founding was heavily influenced by Foster’s own experience with his middle son born with severe medical complications and had to be placed on life support in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA. Understanding what it meant to rely so deeply on their son’s nurses, Foster became passionate about developing a strong, wide-spread team of compassionate and committed nurses and caregivers.
With the expansion, Atlantic Homecare Services adds 12 new counties to licensed service areas, including Wake County and Durham County. Currently, Atlantic Homecare Services is licensed and serving 13 cities in Virginia, including the 7 cities that comprise Hampton Roads.
